Your hangar

Your hangar is your pilot profile. It is your public page on the network, and it grows automatically while you fly.

What is on your hangar

  • Pilot statistics: your total flights, your hours, the airports that you visited, the aircraft that you flew, and the airlines that you flew for.
  • Pilot standing: when you are in the top group of the network by flights, hours or distance, your hangar shows it.
  • Badges: permanent marks from events and achievements. They appear below your name. See Events & badges.
  • Pilot identity: Tailstrike reads your flight history, and it describes your type of flying: for example, short regional legs, or long-haul flights. It also shows the mix of your operations.
  • Your aircraft: the aircraft that carry your name, as an owner or as a patron. Each one shows its state: its position, its fuel and its last flight. The hangar also shows the aircraft that you flew, in the sequence of your time in them.
  • Endowed aircraft: the aircraft that you added to the network.
  • Your flight network: a map of each route that you flew, and your recent flights.
  • Live now: when you are in the air, your hangar shows the flight live.
  • Followers: the pilots who follow you, and the pilots who you follow. See Following & salutes.

Streaming

  • Add your Twitch channel in your settings. Then, when you stream, your hangar can show your stream at the top.
Note
Each pilot has a public hangar. Therefore you can also look at the profile of another pilot. This is useful in the Pilot Directory and on the Leaderboards.
