Get Started with Tailstrike

Welcome to Tailstrike! Follow these simple steps to begin your journey.

  1. Sign in with your VATSIM account.
  2. Lease any available Tailstrike aircraft.
  3. Ensure that your chosen destination airport is compatible with your aircraft.
  4. File a flight plan on VATSIM.
  5. Connect to VATSIM on the ground at the departure airport using any callsign. (Private aircraft must use tailnumber as callsign)
  6. Confirm your flight is detected on the Tailstrike Lease page.
  7. Depart within 90 minutes.
  8. Flight will also auto-complete upon landing.

Rules

  • Stay connected to VATSIM for the duration of the flight
  • Depart from the aircraft's current airport within 90 minutes
  • No time acceleration
  • Land at any airport compatible with your aircraft
  • Private aircraft must fly with tailnumber as callsign
