Cessna to SoCal: The C172 Community Challenge

This one will have to be a team effort.

For this challenge, we’re flying N204CM, a not too shabby Cessna 172, from its home at KJFK (New York Kennedy) to KLAX (Los Angeles). Coast to coast, one leg at a time, together. And those who participate will be commemorated forever - with special event badges.

The challenge will begin at 2359Z on January 2.

How the Badge Works

This is a participation challenge.

• Any flight that moves the aircraft closer to KLAX is eligible.
• Complete one eligible leg and you’ll earn the C172 Coast-to-Coast Challenge badge.

Short flights, long flights, or however you want to fly. This challenge is all about the community sharing one aircraft with one common goal.
